Letting Visitors In The Gate

GUIDELINES FOR LETTING DELIVERIES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS IN THE FRONT ENTRY GATE

One of our valued assets is our gated entrance. It provides an extra layer of security for our residents, their children and our property. Having front gate access, you share the responsibility for keeping Bent Tree secure.

For everyone's security,
ONLY SHARE YOUR 4-digit "Personal Gate Code" WITH FAMILY AND TRUSTED FRIENDS...
FOR EVERYONE ELSE, USE YOUR 3-digit "Call Code."
It is strongly recomended that everyone requests a "Call Code" to use for service providers
by emailing [email protected].

How does the 3-digit "Call Code" work?

1. Tell
your visitor to enter your 3-digit "Call Code" at the entrance key pad; the system will call your phone.
2. You talk with the visitor to verify who it is via the speaker in the key pad...
3. Then simply hit “9” on your phone to open the gate. It’s simple and safe!
Importantly, the "Call Code" does not open the gate, but instead, only calls your phone and you open it.
NOTE:
Visitors can also look up your name in the directory, then hit "CALL" to call your phone.
But it's easier to tell them your call code which saves them from having to search the directory.

REMEMBER
Once a stranger has your 4-digit "Personal Gate Code," they can always use it to open our gate.
Please don’t give it out to strangers (deliveries, service providers, etc). Instead, use
your 3-digit "Call Code."
Giving out your "Call Code" helps keep our community safe
so please request yours.

NEW RESIDENTS:
You'll need to contact the HOA Board president ([email protected]) to request your own 4- digit "Personal Gate Code," your 3-digit "Gate Code" and you can also request one or more gate openers (remotes).
Note that the previous owner's code will be deactivated so get a new code.
